Role Description
The Visualization and Analytics Center Lead will provide strategic direction and operational oversight for the delivery of the development operations analytics to meet the business requirements of Pfizer Worldwide Research and Development. In collaboration with colleagues in Development Operations, Clinical, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and Safety functions, determine the most appropriate analytics tools and approaches to deliver data visualizations that maximize the organizational understanding to achieve Pfizer's operational and strategic goals.

The Visualization and Analytics Center will develop visual analytic environments for the analysis and communication of information and insight from massive aggregated clinical and operational data sets providing analytic capabilities necessary for the integrated visual presentation and analysis environment for evidence-based planning, decision making, and response.

Responsibilities
*Responsible for development and/or implementation of strategies for visualizations and analytics to align with overall business strategies.
*Coordinates with others departments to develop, manage and execute repeatable programs based on analytic findings
*May develop analysis, reports, recommendations and insights from data.
*Develops visually compelling presentations that communicate the relevant insights to stakeholders in an easily consumable manner
*Deploy advanced analytics and provide the support for the people using them. May lead analytical projects that support strategic business direction/decisions
*May be required to support new business initiatives through demonstration of analytical capabilities
*Responsible for the business activities supporting implementation or integration of reporting and visualization tools
*Responsibility for applying multivariate analytic techniques and developing predictive models that incorporate clinical trial operational and/or patient level data
*Develop and Implement processes, metrics & other measures to create, support and drive business analytic activities
*Provide company representation on industry focus groups and forums have leading edge insight into emerging innovations
*Responsible for collaboration with other DevOps colleagues, BU's, RU's to ensure consistent business practices, compatible technologies, and socialization of the analytic products.
*Responsible for business strategies that visually integrate legacy Pfizer data , external data, and other data sources
*Ensure all activities comply with relevant global regulatory requirements & relevant SOPs
*Responsible for creation and maintenance of reporting and metrics life cycle
*Responsible for creation and maintenance and delivery of analytics training where applicable

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in mathematics, biological sciences, statistics, Economics, Operations Research or a related discipline with a comprehensive understanding of biomedical data, operational data, and analytics

Master's or PhD degree in mathematics, statistics, MBA, medical related field or other quantitative experience is desired.



TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

The candidate will have strong business acumen and understanding of how analytics supports a large organization including being able to successfully articulate the linkage between business decisions, business objectives, and analytical approaches & findings

Desirable skills will include:


*Strong experience developing strategies, building requirements, and leading analytic teams
*Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve problems
*Proven experience in regression modeling, statistical modeling, predictive analytics,
*10+ years experience in an analytics, strategy consulting, , or other quantitative role
*Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to successfully build long-term relationships with colleagues and business partners.
*Demonstrated experience in various reporting and visualization platforms and frameworks
*Strong experience in clinical trial operational data, clinical trial study design, investigator site and subject attribute data preferred
