Job Description


This position involves engaging and expanding existing customers; positioning product portfolio in order to provide solutions to customers’ projects and business needs; implementing account management plans through both strategic and tactical activities; working closely with the business development team, and ultimately expanding account growth. The position is also focused on ensuring successful project execution in close partnership with our clients and consultants. This role will allow the right biotech professional to utilize their knowledge and experience while selling solutions. The ideal candidate will be expected to effectively manage their time and exhibit a positive attitude.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Account Management

•   Contact past and current customers to encourage repeat business or to understand their reasons for reducing business with Bulletproof. Use reporting mechanisms to download customer history into Excel for analysis and steps.
•   Identify customers and contact customers by phone and/or email to ask how we can better serve them, including incentivizing them to convert quotes to sales orders, where warranted.
•   Identify customers whose invoiced business has declined year to year and contact those customers by phone and/or email to ask how we can better serve them, including incentivizing them to place orders, where warranted.
•   Establish and execute on strategies for growing existing customer accounts in order to meet and exceed targeted goals. Conduct activities to support new client acquisition as well.
•   Review select purchased item history by customer, and contact customers to generate possible interest in Bulletproof's services.
•   Establish and maintain contact logs showing all outreach efforts and results, and retain and manage all customer communications arising from sales efforts.
•   Perform additional types of customer outreach as they are developed.
•   Conducts outbound contact to existing and prospective customers to identify sales opportunities.
•   Develops and maintains all account/contact details within database/CRM. Utilizes same to effectively monitor and direct customer purchasing activities.
•   Leverages database/CRM and sales analytics to grow sales from existing customer base and expands customer base in assigned accounts.
•   Demonstrated ability to learn, change, and gain from each experience to become more effective in subsequent sales scenarios.
•   Works effectively in a matrixed team environment to drive and create revenue opportunities.
•   Manages customer relationships post-sale, including a strategy to develop long term, repeat business relationships.
•   Assist with miscellaneous other duties related to the work of the department, as directed.

Consultant Management

•   Improve project success rates and alignment with customer expectations
•   Build consultant loyalty for loyalty and/or farming opportunities
•   Ensure high quality of service and identification of trends
•   Partner closely with recruiting team to identify the required skills and background for the project consultant candidates
•   Draft job requisitions for recruiters to reference when sourcing for new roles
•   Assist with interviewing and selection of candidates for best fit and match to customer requirements and culture

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience:

•   Must have a B.A. or B.S.
•   5+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or quality background
•   5+ year sales role, or a related field with customer-facing experience
•   5+ years of consulting or staffing experience
