At AstraZeneca, we’re not afraid to do things differently. We’re building a new kind of organisation to reset expectations of what a bio-pharmaceutical company can be. This means we’re opening up new ways to work, pioneering cutting edge methods and bringing unexpected teams together.

At AstraZeneca, we don't follow the crowd and that means we don’t expect our people to either. To develop life-changing medicines we approach problems in a different way – agile and nimble, and focused on what our people need to make groundbreaking discoveries.

Talent Acquisition helps to deliver AstraZeneca’s ambitious business strategy through recruiting best in class (internal and external) talent to meet the needs and demands of the business. Talent Acquisition at AstraZeneca is transforming. Our ambition is to build a world class function by being more proactive with our recruitment approach and developing long term pipelines of talent. We are passionate about delivering a truly differentiated candidate experience and are building in house teams to deliver this for the business. If you are motivated by the opportunity to drive that change then join us!

The Role

Join the team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist supporting our Commercial business. An important role which supports the development of key global talent pipelines for specified business areas and roles. Working in partnership with Global and local Talent Acquisition teams you’ll be the source of expertise for administrative and operational support that help us secure the talent that AstraZeneca needs to meet our business goals.

To succeed you will take ownership for new employee orientation and onboarding activities, as well as recruitment administrative support activities related to recruitment campaigns for senior and executive level hires. You will resolve candidate, hiring manager and HR peer queries related to the talent acquisition process, escalating issues that you cannot resolve. Serving as a key point of contact, you will reconcile information from various sources (such as candidate expense reports or budget documents) – ensuring completeness and accuracy (or following up on any discrepancies).

Working closely and in partnership with your Global Talent Acquisition Lead, you will support projects and continuous improvement initiatives. You will provide administrative, tactical and executional support to strategies and processes designed by Talent Acquisition leaders or global COEs. You will coordinate, collate and communicate information (possibly of a technical or statistical nature) at the detailed level, and may generate reports using recruitment systems or other tools while ensuring the reports meet quality standards and provide informative interpretation of data.
