Role Description

Pfizer, one of the world's premiere biopharmaceutical companies is seeking a results driven, high energy Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our Worldwide Research and Development (WRD) North American team. The role reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition for WRD and Medical. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting best-in-class candidates for openings that span multiple levels and units across Pfizer's Worldwide Research and Development (WRD) Business Unit. The successful Recruiter will be considered a trusted advisor and strategic partner and work closely with Hiring Managers and HR leadership to ensure that hiring meets business needs and objectives, while proactively managing multiple projects simultaneously. This position is based in Andover MA. Support full-life cycle recruitment needs across WRD including direct sourcing techniques, consultative skills, and compensation, ensuring that every stage from the raising of the initial staff requisition to final appointment is carried out in accordance with global operating procedures and adhere to best practice principles.



Responsibilities

In addition the Talent Acquisition Recruiter will; - Develop a detailed understanding and awareness of each WRD area and its organization in order to improve the quality and alignment of recruitment support - Responsible to define and implement a standard and consistent process, define service guidelines and metrics as needed - Increase candidate flow and develop strategic sourcing solutions that will attract and acquire high quality candidates - Evaluate candidate backgrounds to match core competencies with key hiring requirements and assess cultural fit - Develop creative sourcing strategies for hard to fill positions including direct sourcing, internet recruiting, networking, utilization of external research, etc. Proactively create a talent pipeline of candidates - Effectively integrate diversity into staffing process to ensure diverse candidate slates

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in Science/Business/Human Resources
* 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in talent acquisition or a recruitment function within a large corporate environment; experience with pharmaceutical or biotechnology recruitment Preferred Qualifications - Excellent consultative, strategic thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills - In depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is desired from concept to pre-clinical - Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excel, PowerPoint, and social media/networking sites - Prior experience with Workday - Direct sourcing and/or recruitment agency exposure - Advanced degree - OFCCP and compliance as it relates to employment - Basic understanding of work visas
