Job Description

True North Therapeutics is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of first-in-class product candidates for Complement-mediated diseases. The company’s lead product candidate, TNT009, is designed to selectively inhibit a target in the Classical Complement pathway. True North’s antibody drug development is focused on the treatment of certain rare diseases mediated by the Complement system in hematology, transplantation, and dermatology.

The Discovery Research group at True North Therapeutics is seeking a staff scientist to help lead and develop bio-therapeutics for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory-mediated disorders. As an integral part of the research group, a significant emphasis will be placed on elucidating molecular and cellular mechanisms of pathogenesis as they relate to the company’s novel therapeutics targeting the complement system. The scientist will design experiments and perform cutting edge research, identifying/validating targets and therapeutic efficacy in in vitro and in vivo models. The successful candidate will become a member of a fast-paced and high profile research team, with the goal of advancing molecules rapidly into the clinic.
