As a Trademark Specialist in Wilmington, DE, you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives.

You will be responsible for, under attorney supervision, providing business sound, cost-effective and timely legal support concerning US and foreign trademark and copyright matters.

Major Responsibilities
  • Trademark clearance projects.
  • Prosecution and maintenance of US trademark applications and registrations. Managing foreign outside counsel’s prosecution and maintenance of non-US applications and registrations.
  • Trademark enforcement/defense matters.
  • Communicating with business clients and outside counsel regarding trademark and copyright matters
  • Trademark-related transactional work including licensing, divestments, acquisitions and the like.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years trademark paralegal Foreign and US work experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Collegial, precise, performance-driven, professional, looking to expand knowledge and responsibilities over time
Preferred Requirements
  • Ten (10) or more years trademark experience
  • Paralegal Certificate
  • In-house trademark experience
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
