Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Research Associate or Scientist who is an expert in hybridoma technology to establish and develop our hybridoma platform as part of our antibody drug discovery and development program.  Hands-on technical expertise in all aspects of hybridoma technology is essential, with a demonstrated track record of success in antibody generation and characterization using hybridoma technology.   You will be part of a small, skilled team of experts with a passion for developing novel therapeutics in the field of oncology.

Responsibilities:  Establish our hybridoma program and scale into a high throughput process, Perform all aspects of monoclonal antibody production work including immunization, fusion and screening, Perform all aspects of tissue culture hybridoma work including screening of supernatants, sub-cloning, characterization and cryo-preservation, Establish and maintain a hybridoma and cell banking database.

•   Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Biochemisty, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology or related field, with 5+ years of relevant academic or industry experience or PhD with 3+ years of experience
•   Strong background in cell culture
•   Proven track record of success in antibody generation and characterization
•   Comfortable working with rodents
•   Hands-on experience with antibody binding assays such as ELISA
•   High level of expertise with FACS technology
•   Experience with high throughput automation is preferred
•   Experience with mammalian cell transient transfection is a plus
•   Strong oral and written communication skills
•   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple projects
•   Team player with the energy and motivation to work independently.
