Description

Our in-depth knowledge of the needs of the postsurgical pain market, coupled with our passion for delivering improved patient care, drives our commitment to providing solutions that address unmet medical needs and improve clinical results.  The commercial manufacturing facility located in San Diego, CA is actively recruiting for: Senior QA Associate.
We are gearing up to expand our production schedules and will be adding Sr.QA Associates to work alongside the Production Department in the resolution of Quality Assurance issues.  As a Sr. QA Associate you will be responsible resolving quality impacting issues, and monitoring for GMP compliance of all in-process activities during GMP processing.  You will perform review of executed batch documentation and possibly provide final disposition. Evaluate deviations and Out of Specifications and provide path forward for eventual closure.  You will assign investigations and assist in timely completion of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA’s).  You will assist with regulatory inspections and partner audits.  You will provide QA guidance on quality impacting issues.  You will provide emergency floor support for weekends and nights.

Requirements

Requirements:  BS/BA degree in scientific discipline and a minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.  Previous experience in Quality Assurance is required.   Experience with performing Deviation review and approval, providing floor support and batch record review and approval in a FDA regulated environment is required.  Strong written and verbal communication skills required.  Strong computer skills required.
