This role will assist in coordinating operational requirements with the third party logistics (3PL) companies and Pharmacyclics key customers acting as point person for the third party logistics order to cash cycle and working with supply chain team.  



The Senior Manager, Finance Operations is also responsible for overseeing the Government Pricing & Reporting (GP)-related calculations and is accountable for compliance with strict accuracy targets, timelines, laws, regulations, government contracts and GP’s methodology. In addition, the Senior Manager, Finance Operations is responsible for effective deployment of and improvements to GP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), systems, technologies, and data. The position regularly engages with relevant partners and stakeholders to resolve operational issues. Will also lead cross-functional projects from a GP calculations, systems, process or data perspective.





Core Job Responsibilities:
•Establish and implement commercial sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, including governance, defined communication channels, metrics, controls, etc.
•Define the appropriate infrastructure including people, process and systems and the alignment and linkages throughout
•Develop and track metrics to measure performance and improve efficiency
•Provide assistance in establishing and building the appropriate organization structure to support commercialization and launch strategies
•Proactively reviews and assesses existing government programs, contracts, contract administration practices, policies, guidelines, systems, performance tools, etc. versus new, extended or enhanced opportunities.
•Develop and cultivates professional relationships internally and externally; including external vendor partners supporting or otherwise involved in work relevant to Government Calculations.
•Support as needed, or otherwise participates in the development of new, enhanced or extended government pricing and contracting strategies.
•Manage third party vendor to ensure accurate and timely completion of pricing calculations according to the varying legislation, regulations and terms of contracts for government payers and programs. Ad-hoc projects as requested.



Requirements

Qualifications:
•A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7-9 years business/professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry.  
•MBA with a concentration in finance is preferred, with 3-4 year’s business operations experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
•Demonstrable understanding of drug contracting, government customers, and the distribution channel.
•Must possess a strong analytical capacity, along with good organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal) and be very detail orientated.
•Direct experience with pharmaceutical/biotech companies managing 3PL and Government Reporting.
•Recent commercial launch experience.

•Must be capable of working autonomously, is a team player and possess the ability to interact and interface with all levels of management.
•Strong communication skills (verbal and written); effective in interaction with senior management
•Excellent computer skills, specifically Access and Excel skills
•Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and have excellent judgment and problem solving skills
•Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
•Prior supervisory skills
•Proven experience in leading a team.
•Detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
