Description

As a candidate, you must have the desire and background to contribute to matrix-style teams, rapid decision-making, and become a part of our entrepreneurial spirit and family-oriented environment.

You will play a key role on our research team as we develop and integrate novel targets and new technologies into the drug discovery process.  While leading and supporting multiple drug discovery programs in the field of neuroscience, you will work closely with the research group to select drug targets, develop primary and secondary assays, be an integral part of lead optimization and manage collaborations with academic and industry partners as needed.  In addition, you will provide supervision, guidance and/or training to less experienced staff members.  A critical responsibility will be to actively contribute to the continued enhancement of our pipeline by exploring, justifying and implementing novel targets in discovery

Requirements

- PhD in a Biological discipline with a minimum three years pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in neuroscience or neurology.”
- Expertise in assay development and pharmacology, where fluorescence-based assays, enzymology and protein biochemistry is a plus.
- Must have experience in target identification, validation and assessment.
- Experience with HTS and lab automation is preferred.  
- Ability to manage multiple programs.
