As a Sr. Analyst/Manager, Operations Strategy in Gaithersburg, MD, you’ll play a pivotal role in channelling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. The Sr. Analyst/Manager, Operations Strategy will have responsibility for managing analytics related to strategic decision making, supply network management, and process economics across the Biologics Operations organization. The Sr. Analyst/Manager will also support long range demand/supply modeling for the commercialization of pipeline products. The Sr. Analyst/Manager will support the Sr. Manager, Operation Strategy with cost/capacity modeling, industry research, benchmarking, and data management service on major strategy initiatives. Responsibilities include:
Support long range planning process and supply chain network design for biologics
Manage data, analytics, and reporting of product portfolio metrics for cost of goods and network capacity
Support strategic initiatives as required
Provide analytical, process improvement and consulting services in support of ad hoc projects, ongoing improvement initiatives and corporate objectives, facilitating cross-functional teamwork and communicating findings to Senior Management.
Support cost of goods analytics for platform and non-platform technologies
Support development of annual business plans for biologics
Support financial business cases for major capital investments supporting the biologics supply network
Demonstrate knowledge of drug substance and drug product manufacturing, analytical testing, end to end biologics supply chain management and cost of goods assessments
2-4 years of work experience in a biopharmaceutical organization in a Development/Manufacturing/Supply Chain role preferred.
Business analysis experience strongly preferred
Strategy / Operations Consulting experience preferred
Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Industry experience preferred
Must have experience working in a cross-functional environment
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Life sciences required
