To extend our Industrial Biosciences team we are looking for:

SENIOR TOXICOLOGIST

We are currently seeking an outstanding individual to join our global Product Stewardship & Regulatory team based in Palo Alto, CA, USA.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Serves as Division toxicology expert concerning general toxicological issues
•Provide toxicological expertise and regulatory requirement strategy to R&D project teams and business units
•Ability to negotiate, interact and discuss agreements for toxicology projects with Corporate Toxicology Center and outside contract research organizations (CROs)
•Prepare, design, review, evaluate and interpret toxicology studies (mammalian and in vitro)
•Critique and edit toxicology and scientific reports as appropriate
•Prepare human health risk assessments in support of regulatory submissions worldwide
•Support the Product Stewardship & Regulatory team for all product safety and regulatory compliance matters (REACH, GHS, CLP, FIAP, SDS, etc.)

Requirements:
•PhD in toxicology/pharmacology or life sciences; DABT preferred but not required
•Minimum of 3 years experience in toxicology testing or regulatory toxicology
•Knowledge of life science and toxicology principles to prepare pre-clinical toxicology testing strategy
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Understanding of risk assessment principle and application
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Excellent problem solving/analytical and critical thinking skills
•Competency in computer/software tools
•Outstanding organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to multitask and prioritize projects
•Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team driven environment
