We seek a self-motivated and expert cell biologist at the senior scientist level to join our dynamic team of scientists in the Oncology Cell Cycle Signaling Group in the Tumor Cell Biology Department of Oncology Research Unit in La Jolla, California, to play a key role in development of novel therapies in cancer. Participate in drug discovery and translational research projects focusing on DNA damage and repair pathway. Contribute to experimental drug discovery and identification of combinatorial therapeutic regimens for cancer treatment. Employ cutting-edge in vitro methods and animal models.
* Collaborate with Pfizer's world-class chemical biology and computational biology groups to identify novel mechanisms and targets regulating DNA damage responses. Work in a multi-disciplinary team to develop novel small molecule cancer therapeutics. Contribute to all stages of preclinical drug discovery and development.
* Strong laboratory background to design, conduct experiments, analyze and present cell biology mechanism of action studies and develop novel combination concepts to support Oncology pipeline.
* Actively and effectively interact with cross-functional lines.
