Infinity’s Analytical Sciences group is committed to delivering the highest quality data through innovative development and implementation of state-of-the-art analytical and quality control strategies to ensure the success of Infinity’s therapeutics.

Position Description:
As a member of the Analytical Sciences group, the successful candidate will play a leading role on new and ongoing analytical method development for Infinity’s Development programs.

Responsibilities include:
•   Lead analytical method development to support drug substance and drug product characterization for products moving from early clinical development through registration.
•   Lead analytical aspects of stability and release as well as manufacturing process development.
•   Plan and track analytical development objectives, timelines, priorities, and resources.
•   Oversee technical transfer, documentation, data review, and experimental design.
•   Closely interact with Process Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and project teams to meet analytical development needs.
•   Manage and lead key external CRO/CMO activities including method development, transfer, qualification, and validation.
•   Mentorship and management of internal analytical scientists

Requirements

Position Requirements:
•   MS/PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or closely related field; MS with10-12 years or PhD with 3-7 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience.  
•   Previous management experience required.  
•   Experience working on analytical aspects of late-stage clinical products.
•   Strong chromatography knowledge with depth of practical experience on analytical techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, IC, and GC, GC-MS.
•   Familiarity with various analytical, physical and chemical characterization techniques including MS, MS/MS, FTIR, KF, NMR, DSC and TGA.
•   Excellent laboratory, computer, documentation, communication and organizational skills required.
•   Must have strong attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
