We are headquartered in Novato, CA, 25 miles north of San Francisco, and we also have an office in Brisbane, CA, 10 miles south of San Francisco.  This position is located in Novato, CA.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate / Scientist to join our rapidly expanding Research team and contribute to the discovery and development of novel therapies to address unmet rare disease medical needs. The successful candidate will operate in a highly dynamic research environment, providing bioanalytical research support and expertise. Attention to detail, focus on quality, as well as, a persistent drive for results are critical to this position.

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

•   Develop methods for and execute qualitative and quantitative LC-MS/MS-based bioanalysis to support in vitro & in vivo ADME/PK studies of small molecule therapeutics.
•   Develop, perform and interpret the results from in vitro ADME assays (e.g. protein binding, microsomal & plasma stability, PAMPA, etc.).
•   Provide rigorous data quality reviews to ensure data quality and integrity.
•   Organize, record and maintain study data.
•   Participate in the identification, coordination and management of outsourced in vitro and in vivo studies.
•   Generate timely, high quality research reports/presentations and ensure proper archival

Requirements

Preferred Experience and Education
•   Ability to perform experiments and analyze data in a rigorous and detail-oriented manner.
•   Capacity to work, exercise judgment and solve problems independently, to prioritize key tasks, and to rapidly adapt to changing priorities in a highly collaborative team environment.
•   Strong drive to make impactful contributions towards the success of research/early development programs.
•   Highly enthusiastic and deeply motivated to gain expertise in new fields and learn new skills.
•   Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
•   Commitment to the values of integrity, accountability, transparency, scientific rigor, and drive.
•   BS/BA, MS/MA, PhD in chemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or in a related field.
•   Current US work authorization required.
