   Main Duties and Responsibilities  

 

   The Senior Program Manager, Access Services will be responsible for managing Access Services patient and provider reimbursement program implementations and design, ensuring the program operations meet brand requirements, and serve as the liaison between cross functional partners and the access services team. A key responsibility of this is role is to ensure the program teams have a clear understanding of brand goals and that services offerings are provided with high quality, enhance healthcare providers and patient access to AstraZeneca specialty care brands, and evolve over time as market conditions require. This position will have multi‐faceted responsibilities with various contact points internal and external to the company.  This position will require a talented individual who exhibits a deep understanding of patient and provider reimbursement support program strategies and tactics, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of managing these programs successfully.  As a Senior Program Manager, you must anticipate and respond to day‐to‐day brand requests. Work with brands on program planning. Write and review brand deliverables, including but not limited to program reports, memos, and presentations. Lead routine brand meetings and participate in other brand meetings (via teleconference and in‐person) and sales force training programs as appropriate.  You will also collaborate with internal functional groups (Operations, Training and Quality department, Sales Operations, Project Management Office, among others) to effectively manage brand programs. Communicate brand needs to appropriate staff. Identify and escalate issues as appropriate.  You must understand and communicate program performance metrics, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), brand expectations and goals to the operations team. Coordinate with operations management to develop program‐specific plans to achieve metrics by making recommendations. Monitor program adherence to the commitments.  The Senior Program Manager will also participate in training operations staff on brand expectations (voice of the brand) in program design, day‐to‐day operations and changes in program scope. Provide regular feedback to operations staff, supervisors and directors regarding training needs or other operational changes. Understand program processes and support the development of program specific procedures (PSPs). Understand program database to support brand needs.  You will ensure program data is captured in a manner to deliver insights to the brand on payer, pharmacy, or patient and provider trends and collaborate with Field Reimbursement Managers and identify and implement process improvements that lead to greater patient and provider satisfaction.  You will monitor brand forecasted volume to adjust internal forecasts and communicate changes to appropriate parties. Collaborate with AZ brands to monitor volume trends and track program budgets and participate in account review/strategic planning exercises with the director and associate director, strategy.  You will work internally with the operations team to identify and implement process improvements to resolve issues and drive efficiency and support new program launches and initiatives.  You will also participate in account review/strategic planning exercises with the director and associate director, strategy and understand coverage, coding, and reimbursement issues and focus on developing broader marked knowledge. Stay abreast of industry and policy trends. Have a working knowledge of legal regulations that impact the business.  

Requirements

   Essential Requirements  

 
       
  •      Demonstrated capability to successfully collaborate with brand teams to launch new brands within the contact center.    
  •    
  •      Experience managing contact center implementation projects such as data exchanges and reporting workshops    
  •    
  •      Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide clear messages to all levels within AstraZeneca.    
  •    
  •      Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.    
  •    
  •      Demonstrated analysis and problem solving skills using innovative thinking.    
  •    
  •      Experience working with and negotiating with external vendors.    
  •    
  •      Experience in Oncology market

   Education and Experience  

 
       
  •      Bachelor Degree in Healthcare or related field.    
  •    
  •      5 years contact center reimbursement management experience with progressive responsibilities    
  •
