We are headquartered in Novato, CA, 25 miles north of San Francisco, with an office in Brisbane, CA, 10 miles south of San Francisco, and an office in Basel Switzerland.  This position will be located in Brisbane.

Position Summary:

The Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for leading non-personal/digital promotion activity across multiple launches for the US. The Senior Manager will develop and execute best-in-class tactics and tools utilizing deep customer knowledge and former digital experience. The successful candidate is responsible for executing across both personal and non-personal channels for two Phase 3 projects as they advance to launch and post launch.  The incumbent will support the Launch Marketing Lead, working collaboratively with Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Field Force, Routes of Care, Managed Care and Patient Services teams to prepare for upcoming launches and ensure flawless execution, while keeping budget management a priority. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, energetic and solutions-oriented individual who enjoys a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and is responsive to new information and challenge. This position reports to the Director, Launch Product Marketing.

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
•   Lead Non personal/digital campaign expert for Launch Team
•   Design and implementation of Non Personal Promotion tactics for North America (N.A.) Commercial Launches with specific focus on digital and social media promotions across all stakeholders (e.g., Social Media, CRM, PRM, Website,etc.)
•   Lead tactical implementation for the personal promotions to key stakeholders (ex. Congress). Identifying and maximizing industry synergies (advocacy groups, societies and KOLs)
•   Experience with launching successful programs with ROI, impact analytics and performance driven outcomes
•   Work closely with Launch Marketing lead in developing the short and long terms strategic plans for multiple pre-launch and launch products
•   Cultivate strong relationships with cross functional teams, including medical affairs, field medical, global marketing, market research, market access and the commercial field organizations to develop promotional materials
•   Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify best practices and uncover needs/trends for real time modifications to enhance impact of campaign
•   Primary contact with MRC (Medical, Regulatory, Legal) team and multiple agencies/vendor to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements

•   Successful candidates will have a strong patient focus
•   BA/BS degree required. MBA preferred with 5+ years of marketing experience and 3+ years of digital/social media development or creative experience
•   Experience developing marketing strategies and tactics, with a focus on solid implementation of tactics through a combination of individual and team efforts
•   Strong ability to manage multiple projects across functional areas, and work independently when appropriate, in teams and as a sub-team lead
•   Need to have working knowledge of marketing principles, including key principles of brand management, professional promotion, sales and market access process. Strong knowledge of compliance/HIPAA guidelines  
•   Experience in marketing and/or selling rare, and/or orphan drugs preferred
•   Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in ambiguous situations and be creative in problem solving
•   Demonstrated ability to collaborate and negotiate business solutions in a complex and fast paced environment
•   Experience and ability to work in a matrix organization and influence without authority
•   Ability to travel up to 30%
