Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Brand Manager drives the launch of a new product. The role involves truly end-to-end building of a business including:

•Mapping the patient journey, assessing the customer needs and pain points in detail

•Determining the product positioning, messaging, promotional tactics and materials

•Promoting the product to both physicians and patients

This role interacts cross-functionally with the sales force, product development team, and executive leadership

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Develops marketing strategy and tactics, programs, materials, and sales tools (e.g., brochures, FAQs, videos, etc.) to drive the adoption of the new product by healthcare professionals and consumers

•Owns the execution of marketing plans to promote awareness and key brand messages

•Effectively manages timelines, vendors, and budget for marketing programs

•Tracks ROI for marketing programs and supports strategic investment planning

•Conducts market research with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and consumers, and translate insights into compelling marketing tactics

•Conducts market research to gather customer requirements and evaluates messaging effectiveness

•Works cross-functionally with the sales team, product development team, and executive leadership

•Collaborates with the sales training team to develop training content and messaging

•Works closely with the product development team to provide strategic input to development of new product features

•Assists with planning and materials development for internal sales and marketing meetings and external advisory boards This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have an access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job.

•Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.

•Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.

•Employee must pass post offer criminal background check.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

•B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent required; science degree preferred; MBA or advanced degree preferred

•5+ years of professional experience in marketing; significant downstream marketing experience required

•2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry

•Experience in or deep understanding of genetic testing and preventive oncology preferred

•Product launch experience a plus

•Experience communicating scientific and technical content to the medical community preferred

•Strong project management skills with proven track records of meeting aggressive deadlines and managing resources effectively

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

•Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to persuade others through communications

•Ability to identify insights and translate them into appropriate marketing strategies and tactics

•Ability to promote to physicians and consumers effectively to drive uptake/traction of a new product.

•Ability to handle novel and diverse work problems on a daily basis

•Ability to be a proactive problem solver

•Ability to handle multiple tasks at once

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

•Duties typically performed in an office setting.

•Some travel needed.
