  • Represent Statistics function in support of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), real world evidence generation, and post marketing studies; ensures efficient planning, execution, and reporting of statistical analysis.


  • Collaborate with global project teams on the clinical development or lifecycle management of marketed products with particular attention to issues that may impact the statistical integrity of the HEOR program.


  • Author statistical analysis plans and table, listing, and figure specifications.


  • Provide oversight of statistical programming required at the study level and ensure the availability of an integrated database where needed; plans and conducts integrated analyses to support development decisions, submissions, or marketing needs.


  • Provide statistical interpretation of analyses and provide input on final reports and/or manuscripts.

May be accountable for three or more concurrent studies.

Requirements

Qualifications:



  • Advanced knowledge of statistical methods for design and analysis of clinical and/or epidemiological studies.


  • Knowledge of SAS software and general computing in the pharmaceutical/medical device area.


  • General project and time management skills.


  • Good oral and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate statistical issues and methods to both statisticians and non-statisticians.


  • Good collaborative skills and ability to work with a cross-functional team.

Keen eye for detail with dedication to quality and reliability in one’s work.



Education: Masters/PhD in statistics or equivalent with a minimum of 2-5 years related experience with Masters or 0-2 years with a PhD.
