Five Prime Therapeutics, Inc.   •      Cabiralizumab (FPA008) – a monoclonal antibody targeting CSF1R in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial in pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) and in a Phase 1a/1b clinical trial in multiple cancers in combination with Bristol-Myers Squibb Company’s PD-1 immune checkpoint inhibitor, Opdivo® (nivolumab)    
  •      FPA144 – a monoclonal antibody targeting FGFR2b in a Phase 1 clinical trial in FGFR2b over-expressing gastric cancer    
  •      FP-1039 – an FGF ligand trap in a Phase 1b clinical trial in mesothelioma

   Position:  

   We are seeking a motivated senior administrative assistant to support our Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, Vice President of Clinical Operations, and their teams.  The candidate will provide complete administrative support for the teams including but not limited to calendaring, travel arrangements (international and domestic), coordination of meetings and facilitating timely responses to action items.  This position is expected to partner with other administrative team members in a professional and team-oriented approach, working together to provide back-up administrative support for other members of the executive team.   

   Essential Functions:  

  •      Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment    
  •      Manage the department’s schedules, meetings and office time in accordance with frequent changing priorities    
  •      Interface with the other administrative team members to facilitate meetings and provide total meeting support    
  •      Working with Legal, coordinate the approval and execution of contracts, non-disclosure agreements and other documents    
  •      Coordinate attendance, including travel, at external events, conferences and seminars both domestic and international    
  •      Support the recruitment/onboarding process    
  •      Liaise with other departments or functions    
  •      Other projects/ duties as needed.    

Requirements

   Qualifications:  

  •      Bachelor’s degree required    
  •      8 or more years of experience as an administrative assistant in a team corporate environment    
  •      Experience supporting a senior executive at a biotech company preferred    
  •      Superb attention to detail with outstanding follow-up skills required    
  •      Good project management skills    
  •      Strong computer skills with good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat; excellent Outlook skills a must    
  •      Ability to make the right judgement when dealing with ambiguity and rapid changes    
  •      Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced dynamic environment while demonstrating a resourceful, positive attitude and a superior work ethic    
  •      Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills    
  •      Proven ability to collaborate with others and think creatively to solve problems and implement solutions    
  •      Energetic, resourceful with strong customer service orientation and positive can-do attitude
