Summary:
A highly motivated scientist with a PhD in immunology is being sought to join a world-class team developing the next generation of genetically-modified murine systems for the creation and analysis of novel therapeutics based on molecules of the human immune system. The successful applicant will have extensive experience in the isolation and analysis of murine and/or human immune cell populations as well as developing murine models of human immunology.

Responsibilities:
The candidate will design experiments and routinely employ standard immunoassays such as multicolor FACS, ELISA and ELISPOT to test the functionality of murine and human immune cells isolated from genetically modified mice, therefore hands-on experience working with genetically modified murine systems is highly desirable as is engrafting human cells into mice to create murine models of the human immune system. The candidate also needs to be familiar with mouse genetics as he/she will be directing the breeding of mice with multiple genetic modifications. The candidate will be responsible for the reporting scientific data in internal meetings and a high level of presentation skills is desired.

Experience and Required Skills:

Requirements:
PhD and postdoc required. Minimum 3-4 years of experience working with mouse models of Immunology.  Additional requirements include:
- Maintenance, breeding and analysis of mouse knockouts or transgenics
- Adoptive transfer of immune cells into mice
- Mammalian tissue culture, especially with primary immune cells from human and mice
- Familiarity with immunoassays such as but not limited to multi-color FACS, ELlSA, ELlSPOT.
