Description

Sorrento Therapeutics Inc. is a startup biotech company engaged in employing its proprietary technology platform to discover and develop fully human therapeutic monoclonal antibodies against cancer and many other diseases.  

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individual who has strong background and hands-on-experience in therapeutic monoclonal antibody purification, characterization and analysis. The successful candidate will be independently troubleshooting and developing methods to optimize antibody biophysical characterization.

Requirements

PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines, with 0-5 years of postdoctoral/industry experience or MS with 4+ industry experience.
The candidate must have solid, proven hands-on-experience in antibody biophysical characterization methods including SEC-MALS, DSC, IEF, AUC, CE, UV-Vis, fluorescence and CD.
In depth knowledge of various chromatography methods (SEC, HIC, IEX, RP, HILIC) is a plus.
The candidate will be expected to identify and implement latest technologies relevant to antibody biophysical characterization.
Prior experience with LC- MS analysis of monoclonal antibodies is expected.
Familiarity with Waters MassLynx, Empower and BiopharamaLynx software is preferred.
