The position requires a Ph.D. in Biology/Biochemistry/Pharmacology and a minimum of 4 years of post doc experience in epigenetic and cancer research. Industry experience is desired. Experience in stem cells is helpful.

Our team is focusing on Early Drug Discovery in the Epigenetic areas.

We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join our Epigenetic Group in the Oncology Department. The successful candidate will work on drug discovery projects focused on Epigenetic and transcriptional targets. Specifically, the candidate will be expected to design, plan and execute experiments that include cell-based phenotypic screening, identification and validation of new targets, identification of biomarkers, and mechanism of action studies and assay development for profiling development compounds within the areas of oncology.


Skills/Knowledge Required:

- Experience with state of the art methods for molecular and cell analysis including new technologies for epigenetic and transcriptional studies.
- Highly motivated, innovative and strong team player.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experience with oncology drug discovery.
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal position for scientist interested in translating the progress in the field of epigenetic into new class of cancer therapeutics.
