   Main Duties and Responsibilities  

   You will work in the laboratory as member of a group investigating novel cellular and molecular mechanisms in immuno-oncology by employing the most relevant cellular in vitro human systems and animal models, when applicable. Additionally, you will support preclinical drug discovery programs, through validation assays required for the selection and functional characterization of new lead monoclonal antibodies.  

   You will also play a significant role in the development of new technology platform, interrogating the combinatorial effect of immune-therapeutics on the tumor models.  You should be highly motivated, innovative, creative, well organized and able to work independently when designing and executing the assays. You will also be expected to manage and prioritize a number of different projects and tasks in line with the objectives of the group.  

Requirements

   Essential Requirements  

 
       
  •      MS or Ph.D. in immunology or oncology or related field    
  •    
  •      Extensive scientific expertise in immune-oncology    
  •    
  •      Experience with primary immune cells of human and/or rodent origin as well as in vivo syngeneic mouse tumor models.    
  •    
  •      Proven ability to publish in peer reviewed journals, generate technical report summaries and protocols    
  •    
  •      Ability to communicate clearly and candidly at internal and external scientific meetings    
  •  
   Desirable Requirements    
       
  •      Proficiency in multi-color flow cytometry is essential.    
  •    
  •      Strong hands-on skills in immunological and biochemical methods including ELISA/multiplex assays, ELISPOT, western blotting, immunoprecipitation, etc    
  •    
  •      Well-acquainted with molecular biology techniques (i.e., qRT-PCR) and knowledge in genomics and proteomics database analyses
