Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Clinical Pharmacology & DMPK (CPD) Department is seeking a highly motivated individual with established experiences in biomarker development to join the bioanalytical group as a Scientist 1 / Scientist 2. You will function as bioanalytical leader on a cross-functional team to support biomarker development for biotherapeutic products at various stages of research and development.  You will design the bioanalytical strategy in support of preclinical and clinical studies. Other responsibilities include scientific evaluation and hands-on laboratory research in biomarker identification, and leading development of immunoassays and activity assays for biomarker evaluation and immunogenicity assessment.  You will conduct bioanalysis in compliance with GLP regulation.  You will also provide data interpretation and reporting in support of preclinical and clinical studies, as well as contribute to regulatory submissions.


Essential Requirements

For Scientist 1

  • PhD with a minimum of 0-3 years industry experience in drug development and biomarker identification

For Scientist 2

  • PhD with a minimum of 3-7 years industry experience in drug development and biomarker identification

For both roles:

  • PhD in pharmacology, cell biology, immunology, or a related field in the biological sciences
  • Good knowledge and established experience in drug development and biomarker identification for oncology programs
  • Experience with working in cross-functional teams
Desirable Requirements

For both roles:

  • Demonstrated ability for scientific insight and conceptual thinking
  • High level of expertise in biomarker identification for oncology programs
  • Experience with assay development and validation of immunochemical and bioassays
  • Familiarity of GLP regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Familiarity of GLP regulations
