Job Summary

Physician-scientist seeks highly motivated college graduate interested in pursuing biomedical research in a new laboratory at the Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience Institute of the University of Michigan. Research projects will involve behavioral, cellular and molecular procedures.
Experimental duties will include but are not limited to: Rodent behavioral procedures, Immunohistochemistry, In situ hybridization, Retrograde labeling, Radioummunoassay, Microscopy.
Non-experimental duties will include but are not limited to: Maintaining lab supplies, Data and statistical analysis.

Desired Qualifications*

- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, chemistry or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Experience in animal behavioral procedures.
- The candidate must be self-motivated and willing to learn new techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills are also required.
