Job Description


Adicet bio, Inc. is a privately held, preclinical stage biotechnology company that is engaged in the development of cutting-edge immunotherapies for cancer and other diseases, with a focus on novel universal immune cell therapies. Adicet’s immune cell platform is complemented by expertise of its wholly owned subsidiary, Adicet Bio Israel Ltd., which identifies and validates novel disease specific peptide-MHC targets and generates T cell receptor-like antibodies that can be used to specifically target immune cells to diseased cells.

Adicet Bio was founded in late 2015 and closed a Series A financing of $51M in January 2016. This financing was led by OrbiMed and also included Novartis Venture Funds and Pontifax. In August 2016, Regeneron and Adicet Bio announced a strategic collaboration to discover and develop next-generation engineered immune-cell therapeutics, for which Adicet received a $25M upfront payment.

The candidate will be a key contributor to new projects paving the way for generating novel cell based therapeutics for the treatment of cancer utilizing the latest technologies for engineering and manipulating mammalian genomes. The position requires skills to perform systematic, highly accurate work within complex and multi-step experimental procedures.


- Bachelor or MSc in cell and molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, biochemistry, genetics or any other relevant areas.
- 1+ years bioanalytical/research laboratory experience preferred. Industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency in basic molecular biology techniques including standard and Gibson cloning techniques, vector design, sequence analysis, DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR and qPCRs, genomic DNA and total RNA preparation and handling, cDNA library preparation
- Quantitative real-time RT-PCR (qPCR): RNA isolation, generation of cDNA and quantitative measurements using qPCR technology
- Advanced synthetic biology techniques including plasmid multi fragment assembly like Gibson is a plus
- Experience in mammalian cell culture and transfection/ transduction and genome editing and manipulation is a plus (primary and cell lines)
