Description

Stem CentRx is embracing new paradigms and technologies to develop novel and life-changing therapies for cancer. As part of a talented and multi-disciplinary team advancing an exciting new approach to drug discovery and development, the successful applicant will be involved in designing, executing and analyzing experiments to evaluate the diagnostic and therapeutic potential of drug candidates.  The position requires excellent laboratory skills, critical thinking and attention to detail at the bench and the desk.

Primary Responsibilities:
•   Development, qualification and validation of cell-based and immunoassays assays
•   Prior hands-on experience with PK and ADA assays desirable
•   Knowledge of tumor biology and/ or stem cell biology desirable
•   Experience with any of the following techniques is a plus: multicolor flow cytometry, Western blotting, IHC, RNA isolation, RT-PCR and qPCR assays

Requirements

•   Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline with a minimum of 3 years experience or,
•   Masters degree in a scientific discipline
•   Strong attention to detail
•   Ability to work independent with minimal supervision
•   Ability to analyze data and document results
•   Ability to adapt to changing priorities
•   Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal, listening)
•   Strong mathematical skills
•   Time management (schedules, timelines, task prioritization)
•   Excellent problem-solving skills; solution-oriented
•   Team oriented
•   Perform other related duties as required
