Description

As part of a talented and multi-disciplinary team advancing an exciting new approach to drug discovery and development, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to antibody and recombinant protein expression, purification and validation. The successful candidate will be responsible for purification of recombinant protein antigens as deliverables for immunization campaigns, hybridoma screening, antibody preparation and determination of antibody affinity and kinetics for antigen as a means to choose an optimal therapeutic. The ability to work independently, while effectively interacting and communicating with the research group and external collaborators, is a prerequisite.

Requirements

•BS in Biology or Engineering with 2+ years of relevant research experience
•PhD in Biology with 2+ years of relevant research experience
•Experience with Biacore, ForteBIO and/or other methods for biophysical measurements
•Hands-on experience in protein purification preferred
•Hands-on experience in flow cytometry/FACS a plus
•Flexibility to learn techniques and accomplish goals outside those stated above.
•Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•Organized and disciplined record keeping
•Excellent personality, problem solving and communication skills
