The Biologics Lead Discovery team is hiring a Research Associate II/III to join the team within our Redwood City, CA site.  

In this position this individual will be responsible for providing support to the hybridoma group.

Responsibilities include:
Prepare immunogens (recombinant proteins and cell expression target antigens) with adjuvant for immunization.
Titer mouse sera, perform fusion, screen, subclone, clone expand and freeze hybridomas, collect hybridoma supernatants, and characterize antibodies.
Test antibodies in functional assays.
Maintain immunogen-producing cell lines.
Ship hybridomas and supernatants to collaborators, and maintain immunogen inventories and hybridoma databases.
Present results and plans to BMS scientific staff.
Communicate status and results to collaborators.
Other duties include but are not limited to ordering reagents and supplies, preparing medium and buffers.

Requirements


-Bachelor’s degree in biological science or related field with >3 years relevant work experience. Working knowledge of immunological methods, hybridoma generation, ELISA/FMAT/FACS/Octet and protein purification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Experience: 2-3 years industry experience for MS and 3-5 years for BS
- Experiences in tissue culture, ELISA, FMAT, FACS and Octet are desirable.
- Ability to present project update at the project team meeting.
