Summary:

The conjugation process development (CPD) group is seeking a resourceful and motivated research associate (level 2 or 3) to participate in the development of antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) GMP manufacturing processes.  CPD is a close collaborative group that works together to ensure that BDS processes are simple, effective, efficient, and fluid, that all documentation and regulatory expectations are met, and that internal and external customers are satisfied.  Group staff may act as independent CPD representatives on multi-functional teams, and play a central role in moving innovative oncology drugs into clinical trials and commercial use.

Requirements


Qualifications:

  • A B.S. or B.A. with 2 or more years of industry experience, or an M.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field
  • Willingness to work with highly potent molecules
  • Evidence of bringing energy and productivity to the work-place
  • Strong organization, time management, and problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • A team player with good communication skills, desire to achieve team and individual goals
  • Able to function with a high degree of independence


Additional Desired Skills

  • Direct experience with bioconjugation, antibodies, or protein modification
  • Experience in a GMP or regulated environment
  • Proficiency with instrumentation used in biomanufacturing including tangential flow filtration and HPLC
  • Fluency with Excel and familiarity with JMP and DoE formalism is highly desirable
  • Composition of clear and concise documents suitable for communication to colleagues, management, and regulators
  • Experience with electronic laboratory notebook systems
