   Main Duties and Responsibilities  

   MedImmune is seeking an applicant for a Research Associate II position in Physicochemical Testing Group within the Analytical Sciences Department. The successful candidate will develop and utilize chromatographic, electrophoresis and spectroscopic methods to support the development of biopharmaceutical products.  uch as humanized monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins record detailed experimental observations, analyze data, and present results in group/project meetings and has good communication skills, good time management and good multi-tasking abilities.  

Requirements

   Essential Requirements  

 

   Research Associate I:  

       
  •      Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, biochemistry or other related fields with at least one year of relevant work experience.    
  •  

   Research Associate II:  

 
       
  •      Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, biochemistry or other related fields with at least two years of relevant work experience or a Master’s Degree in the same fields with at least one year of relevant work experience.    
  •  

   Knowledge  

       
  •      A thorough understanding of chromatographic, electrophoresis, and/or spectroscopic techniques in protein analysis is required.    
  •    
  •      Good verbal and written communication skills are vital.    
  •    
  •      Computer skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel are needed.    
  •    
  •      Ability working as a team member in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment is a must.
