Description

RA will work in a collaborative setting with other cell line and cell culture development staff on CMC development projects.  RA’s primary responsibility is to support recombinant cell line and cell culture development.  This will include recombinant protein productions, maintaining clinical and research cell lines, solution and cell culture media preparation, cell culture analytics, lab and instrument maintenance tasks. RA will also be responsible for experiment and cell line record keeping, data entry, data analysis including, presentation to department and technical report writing.  

Requirements

•   BS or BE degree with 2 year laboratory experience in an academic or Biotech firm is desirable.  
•   Understanding of recombinant protein expression technology, cell metabolism and physiology is essential.  
•   Demonstrated technical skills required: ability to perform cell culture, aseptic technique, follow laboratory technical procedures with attention to detail, and successfully execute experiments at the bench.
•   Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic statistical methods is expected.
•   Ability to work and communicate well in team, a positive attitude and strong problem solving skills are required.
•   Occasional weekend work required
•   Experience in bioreactor operations, statistics
•   Lift over 30 lbs
