The Position
We are looking for a highly motivated Research Associate with molecular biology background to join the Molecular Biology Group.  The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up e. coli cultures, processing DNA preparations, QC and quantitate the DNA, and tracking the DNA preparations in databases and Excel spreadsheets. The candidate will also be involved in in vivo studies with rodents within the Pharmacology group.  The candidate must be self-motivated, thorough, and be capable of working both independently and in a team environment.

Requirements

Education & Experience
A BS in Molecular or Cell Biology with 0-2 years of academic/industry experience. The successful candidate must be experienced in current basic molecular biology techniques including DNA preparation and DNA quantitation using a spectrophotometer or a nanodrop. Experience in rodent animal handling is a plus.

-Excellent organizational and communication skills are required, and ability to work in a fast paced team environment is also necessary
