Research Associate

MacroGenics, Inc., a growing biotechnology company, has an opening for a Research Associate in its Rockville facility.  Responsibilities include: Research and development protein purification and characterization in response to the needs of several projects.  Techniques such as SDS-PAGE, FPLC, HPLC, western blotting, ELISA and all modes of chromatography will be utilized.  Strong organizational/computer skills along with written and oral communication skills will also be required.  The individual should be able to maintain accurate records of experiments and present data at group meetings.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry or Biology; minimum of 2 years experience.
