As a Regional Business Manager in Centralized Diagnostics based in Boston, MA, you will plan and direct the daily operation or your assigned region to achieve revenue, profit and expense objectives.  You will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership as you coach and motivate a team of approximately 8 - 10 sales professionals to meet or exceed your region's sales goals.  You will be a valued resource as you assist your team to resolve operational problems and customer issues.  As the leader, you will have an important role in maintaining key relationships with high value customers.  Senior leadership will rely on you to manage the operations, budget, and resources of your region and direct and implement tactical plans to ensure department objectives and goals are achieved, while continuously maintaining and improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.  You will have ample opportunity to engage your expertise in relationship building, mentoring, and coaching as you build and develop your team, having full discretion on all employment decisions in your region including hiring, training, and performance management.

Region: Within 1 hour of Boston. Candidate must reside within territory or be willing to relocate.

Travel: 50-60%

Requirements

You also:

* Have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Science, or related field, or equivalent experience

* Have 3 years relevant sales or equivalent experience, preferably 5 years in health care industry sales

* Have 1-2 years management or equivalent leadership experience with demonstrated strong competency and proven track record in sales management and leadership

* Have good oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations

* Are a creative and innovative leader who encourages development opportunities for your team

* Are a leader that mobilizes team members and resources to achieve business goals

* Have negotiation, contracting, problem solving, strategic planning, and organizational skills

* Have the ability to work in a regulated environment

* Have high levels of sales proficiency and/or industry specific experience

* Preferably have knowledge of technical and market issues/factors

* Are willing to travel

* Have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong business acumen, and a desire to conquer complex sales processes

* Proficient computer and technical skills sufficient to operate all other company systems

* Are someone who is looking for a professional career and to expand your horizons within the organization
