We are searching for an entrepreneurial, highly motivated Regional Business Leader for our Midwest region. In this role, you will lead our field based team of oncology sales professionals for our current marketed product in the oncology supportive care therapeutic area. This position will report to our Vice President of Sales. The successful incumbent will have a direct impact in delivering our commercial strategy and sales results and acting as a role model for our commercial values of keeping the patient at center, collaboration, relentless pursuit of excellence and trust in all we do.

This position will cover multiple states and it is preferable that the individual reside within the region. Ideal locations would include: Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Cleveland or Columbus or surrounding areas.

Job Summary:
This position will act as an integral member of our Commercial Sales Leadership team by managing a team of sales professionals through our critical launch phase through the life cycle of our product.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
•   The direct leadership and management of a team of 8-10 experiences sales professionals
•   Utilizing knowledge and expertise of local market trends, institutions, and key customers to optimize our national strategy to deliver sales results at the regional level
•   Utilizing internal resources, such as market data and analysis to shape regional business plans and to provide insight and guidance to territory plans to drive business results
•   Providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback and motivation to lead a high performing and engaged team
•   Identifying and seizing opportunities to build organizational efficiency and process improvements to positively impact business results

Requirements

Qualifications:
•   Bachelor’s degree is required.
•   Minimum of 5 (five) years of strategic experience in the pharmaceutical industry
•   Minimum of 3 (three) years of sales leadership experience, preferably in an Oncology, Specialty Care, or Hospital
•   Superior leadership and management skills, including employee engagement, coaching and accountability for results
•   Excellent knowledge of local marketing in region including key customers, institutions and IDNs
•   Ability to develop strategic long term relationships with customers aimed at helping patients and achieving business results
•   Ability to develop successful cross collaboration relationships across Marketing, Market Access, Channel Management and other internal business partners
•   Strong alignment to our corporate values of patient at center, collaboration, relentless pursuit of excellence and trust in all we do
