We give our best effort to our work, and we put people first. We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world. The immunogenicity research group at Lilly’s Biotechnology Center in San Diego seeks a highly motivated and skilled scientist with knowledge and research experience in molecular immunology and protein biochemistry. Activities include immunogenicity and pharmacokinetic methods development, validation, and sample analysis. The ideal candidate is a team player, with a passion for scientific research and drug screening, and possessing a broad knowledge of protein chemistry, protein-protein interaction, protein-peptide interaction, immunoanalytical assays, biochemical and biophysical assays, to drive preclinical assessment of biotherapeutic immunogenicity. Some key responsibilities might include:Perform and validate biochemical analysis including, but not limited to, ligand binding assays, protein analysis, 1-D and 2-D PAGE analysis, samples preparation for mass spectrometry.Conduct studies and compile validation protocol, method validation report and SOPs, and ensures that documentation is an exhaustive and correct record of the performed experiments.Carry out sample analysis, validation and data review following GLPs.Perform instrument monitor duties, and routine equipment maintenance as needed.Work with supervisor to discuss laboratory activities and ensure scheduled work is executed as planned.Organize and present data to support decisions in collaboration with immunogenicity scientists and team manager. Other Key Objectives/Deliverables: Design, screen and analyze data for protein in cell-based assays.Investigate cellular signal transduction, develop cellular activity assays, cytokine/receptor signaling (western, qPCR, intracellular staining and FACS analysis, ELISA, ELISPOT, confocal/image related techniques). Isolation, purification and culture of freshly isolated different populations of leukocyte from human, mouse and rat for ex vivo assays. Preparing cellular materials for genomic and proteomic assessment. Independently design and execute experiments, analyze, interpret and present experimental data.
