Job Description

Harpoon Therapeutics is an early-stage biotech company located in South San Francisco. The Company is developing next generation biologics to engage and activate immune cells for the treatment of cancer and other diseases. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong scientific background in developing antibody-based therapeutics and organizational skills to manage and coordinate research and development activities in our late-stage research and development programs.
•   Coordinate activities in product development teams (PDT), schedule team meetings, keep records and meeting minutes.
•   Track deliverables, manage project timelines, ensure completion of defined activities to achieve defined goals, objectives, and continuous program progress.
•   Identify and communicate risks and potential roadblocks to appropriate stakeholders, assist in risk management.  
•   Communicate updates and progress to management.
•   Assist in managing outsourced research, contract research organizations (CROs), and contract manufacturing organizations (CMO).
•   Coordinate research studies with CROs and CMOs and for reagent shipment, study initiation, study monitoring, study completion and reporting.
•   Keep track of required documents including non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, contracts, and study protocols.


•   Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant biological science discipline, e.g., biochemistry, cancer biology, cell biology, or immunology.
•   2+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience in project management and basic knowledge in project management software.
•   Prior hands on laboratory experience in basic and applied biology research is highly preferred
•   Basic understanding of the drug development process.
•   Ability in adapting to a fast pace and continuously evolving biotech startup environment.
•   Proactive personality, solutions-oriented with strong problem-identifying and problem-solving skills.
•   Excellent interpersonal skills and command of oral and written communication.
