JOB SUMMARY
This position is the brand lead for Cambia/Zipsor and will report directly to the Senior Director of Marketing. This person’s responsibility will be developing brand’s strategy, leading the professional campaign and launching innovative tactics through different marketing channels.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
•Develop and execute a marketing strategy and associated tactics for Cambia and Zipsor.
•Work with and directly manage business partners, such as advertising agencies to develop tactical plans and promotional tools that are consistent with brand strategies, are easy for the field to use/deploy (if applicable) and will yield a positive return.
•Responsible for working with cross-functional team members (i.e. Medical, Regulatory, Promotion, Sales Operations, etc.) in the development of strategic and operational plans
•Identify and develop opportunities to communicate with our key customers through different channels.
•Support the development of forecasts and budgets
•Collaborate with other brand teams within Depomed to ensure team is aligned on priorities and ongoing projects
•Compliance with Depomed internal processes regarding legal, regulatory and financial policies and procedures
•Maintain a comprehensive and current understanding of relevant therapeutic markets
•Lead and support initiatives to improve the teams processes and tools
•Manage and track brand promotional budgets
•Create and cultivate brands equity including branding, position, personality and essence
•Ensures insight is brought to life through all marketing efforts, from strategy development to implementation.
•Develop and refines customer value propositions that translate the strategy and address customers’ needs
•Understands the buying process and patient journey for brand/ disease state
•Demonstrates analytical capacity and understands the drivers of business performance at brand and above-brand levels.
•Develop and effectively monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the brand
•Prioritize resources rigorously, allocating effort in relation to long-term profit potential.
•Demonstrate P&L mentality with a deep understanding of the variables that impact Gross to Net.
•Creates compelling messages and drives an integrated communications plan (personal and non-personal).

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s Degree Required; preferably in Life Sciences or Business, with an advanced degree in Business or Science strongly preferred
•Minimum of 5 years of applicable pharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 2 years of product management experience
•Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage complex processes and initiatives
•Experience and the desire to work within a fast-paced department is required
