The incumbent is responsible for managing and improving quality of services, processes and products for In Vivo Pharmacology to ensure top and bottom-line growth and achievement of financial goals. Major areas of oversight may include defining and implementing business strategy related to products and services, performance metrics, product and service quality, customer satisfaction, market analysis, revenue forecasting, inventory optimization, pricing and discounting, development of new products and services, and ensuring an enhanced experience for customers. The incumbent will possess and continually seek in-depth understanding of the market by working closely with customers and customer facing staff. This position is located in Sacramento, CA and requires daily on-site work.
JMCRS In Vivo Business Unit PM
Achieve top-line and bottom-line growth while ensuring an enhanced customer experience
Strategic inventory management.
Analyze sales data, operational metrics and monitor competitive business environment to develop new sales initiatives, create revenue projections, make pricing changes/ evaluate discount programs; and create management reports.
Work closely with JMCRS Marketing to promote new offerings .
Manage large, strategic In Vivo customer relationships including preparing responses to RFPs, MSAs and large customer proposals.
Create a positive, professional, high performance quality work culture.
Other responsibilities as assigned
Manage product line life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical implementation.
Ensure positive customer experience by managing customer communication and customer documentation.
Act as voice-of-customer in new product development initiatives.
Provide strategic guidance, training and support to Sales organization.
Minimum of Bachelor's degree with preference in Life Science. MS, PHD and/or MBA desirable.
Minimum three years’ experience in management level position in the biomedical research market with documented proficiency in key competencies associated with assigned area. Experience in mouse-based research market preferred. Two to three years in a customer facing position preferred.
Demonstrated excellence in business communication.
Demonstrated successful experience in formulating, implementing, evaluating, and communicating complex plans and programs and creative problem-solving as needed to launch and support programs.
Demonstrated successful experience in making important decisions, often under some pressure and tight time deadlines, which carry large financial consequences.
Ability to travel 30%
