Description

Reporting to the Process System Analyst Lead, the Process/ System Analyst will work as a member of the Information Technology department to provide process and system support of laboratory software systems for Sequenom’s Center for Molecular Medicine. The systems include but are not limited to LIS and LIMS. This is a great opportunity to join our growing laboratory in Research Triangle Park.

Responsibilities:
Provide full process and system support for the CLIA laboratory by troubleshooting process and system issues
Participate in process and system development activities including testing
Create and maintain process and system related documentation and diagrams, including Software Requirements Specification (SRS), Test Plans, Test Protocols, Change Request documentation, and User Access Requests
Assist with tracking and coordinating development activities
Other assigned duties

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate will have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information system, life science, or equivalent experience
3-5+ years of process and system support experience
3-5+ years of process and system development experience
Understanding of laboratory processes, including the ordering, processing, testing, resulting and reporting procedures is required
Working knowledge of documentation in accordance with CLIA or FDA regulations for validated computer systems
Experience with laboratory information system and/or process control systems highly desired
