Position Summary:


Alkermes is seeking a recent Ph.D. graduate to join our Pharmaceutical Chemistry team. This role requires experience in solid-state chemistry, including crystal engineering, crystal growth, solid state characterization (PXRD, SCXRD, DSC, TGA,) and analytical and spectroscopic techniques (i.e. NMR, IR, Raman, HPLC). Experience with these techniques is an essential requirement of the role.


Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:


Ph.D. in chemistry or related physical science with a concentration on polymorphism

Extensive experience in solid-state characterization techniques, including TGA, DSC, PXRD, IR and Raman

Good publication record

Ability to work as part of a team on creative problem solving

Good communication and writing skills

Additional Information:

This position is for a fixed duration of time of up to two years
