Position-Post-doctoral fellow, Biology-

Inception Sciences is currently seeking a motivated and dynamic post-doctoral fellow to join our drug discovery team. The position will be located in Paris, France, working with one of our academic collaborators at INSERM, and will be for a duration of 2 years. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with human biopsies from patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and to identify and characterize novel cellular and biochemical mechanisms involved in disease pathogenesis. The work will also involve validation of therapeutic targets and biomarker discovery. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills and leadership, a demonstrated ability to drive projects forward independently, and someone who enjoys scientific discovery as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The position title, compensation and benefits will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications.  Since this position will be based in Paris, candidates must be eligible to work in France.  The company will assist the selected candidate with a visa application, if necessary. •   Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biology, Physiology, or a related discipline.

•   Hands-on experience with primary cell/tissue systems and/or expertise in IBD.

•   Experience with immunological and molecular biology techniques.

•   Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•   Strong leadership skills and independence.
