Description


We are looking for an experienced research associate to join our team in the Developmental and Molecular Pathways department. The scientist will assume a hands-on role in a team responsible for executing high throughput screening and profiling assays. The team is responsible for several highly automated systems with a heavy emphasis on cell culture and cell-based assays. These technologies are used to identify and characterize potential drug targets and better understand small molecule mechanism of action. The applicant should ideally have experience as an automation user (cell culture, HTS or uHTS preferred) and in analyzing large data sets. The team is highly collaborative and interacts with many diverse projects team so good communications skills are key to success.
The candidate should have a B.S. or M.S. degree or equivalent in biochemistry, cell biology, engineering or similar with at least three years of industrial or academic research. The candidate should have some familiarity in applying automation to asses biological activities. The candidate must be highly collaborative, self-motivated, team-oriented, and have excellent communication and computer skills.
