Job Description


As a Senior Oncology Specialist, you are responsible for the direct sale of the company’s products within assigned geographic territory.

Calls on customers in specific geography, provides technical and administrative product information on company’s products

Responsible for new and existing account development and/or expanding existing accounts within established territory.

Builds relationships with physicians and key thought leaders in territory

Analyzes customer’s needs and interests.

Complies with applicable laws in providing physicians with pharmaceutical samples and literature.

Represents the company in a highly professional and ethical manner, and fosters the Company’s reputation and image.

Provides a high level of product expertise and customer service to all accounts.

Tracks sales activities and submits reports on sales activities.

Gathers data on marketing trends, competitive products

Achieves or exceeds sales objectives in assigned territory.

Bachelors/Master degree in sciences or marketing or equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional experience

6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry

3+ years of experience in Oncology

Customer and Industry Knowledge:

Proven ability to manage a large geographical territory

Demonstrated ability to successfully seek out and close new accounts

Documented sales success

Strong scientific background
Dynamic, self starter

Ability to use sales skills to optimize new accounts within assigned territory

Ability to develop strong, professional relationships

Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills

Commercial, Regulatory and technical awareness

Exceptional written and verbal communication

Strong influential skills

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Able to show proof of a valid drivers license and insurance
