As a Multi-Channel Marketing Manager in Gaithersburg, MD, you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. GPPS (Global Product and Portfolio Strategy) bridges science and commercial, integrating corporate, portfolio, therapy areas and product strategies, providing strategic direction from early-stage research through to commercialization.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the Multi-Channel Relationship Marketing Team within AstraZeneca’s Global Commercial Operations Group, the Multi-Channel Relationship Marketing Manager will be responsible for execution and operational analysis of the Multi-Channel Relationship Marketing (MCRM) capability. This includes establishing relationships with MCRM Leader, agency operations partners and the MCRM Operations team to build and execute multi-channel marketing programs to healthcare professionals and consumers. The MCRM Manager will implement MCRM campaigns that support the marketing plans and ensure compliance with all AstraZeneca privacy, opt, quality and security policies.

The MCRM Manager has accountability for delivering executional excellence to their assigned brands is responsible for data integrity, continuous campaign monitoring, and external compliance. The MCRM Manager must have the ability to effectively engage, influence and educate key stakeholders in order to deliver campaigns designed by MCRM Leader. The Manager must also ensure satisfaction and ongoing continuous improvement of their efforts. The Manager requires strong business acumen, understanding of process solutions, customer centric marketing and digital marketing.

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to deliver MCRM Campaigns that drive business results for the assigned brands, partner with MCRM Leaders, GCO team members, and other partners to launch efficient and effective campaigns that support marketing objectives. You will be able to contribute to and influence the evolution of our MCRM capability as a meaningful component for the delivery of global business outcomes, and have responsibility for working with assigned MCRM Leader, MCRM Operations team to align and document campaign design and implementation. You will need to understand campaign approach, target segments, data exchanges, sales force, media and 3rd party integrations, and analyze campaigns through metrics to ensure operational integrity, while setting and maintaining program launch expectations and overall campaign status by creating and managing detailed project plans for all programs, including data exchanges and systems integrations. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to communicate with MCRM Leader to anticipate needs and provide guidance to plan program components for successful execution and identify project risks and contribute to the development of options and plans to manage those risks to ensure successful execution of overall Brand campaigns.
