Description

This position will be responsible for providing support for all SAP Master Data Management. The ideal candidate will function as a member of the Purchasing department and will be responsible for the creation, development and maintenance of master data ensuring data integrity standards within SAP.

Responsibilities:

*Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness and management of all master data changes, including but not limited to, the Material Master, BOMs, Routers, Revision Levels, Source lists and Purchasing Info Records

*Responsible for data maintenance and requires collaboration with stakeholders in the development and/or revision and SAP procedures and processes that support and ensure operational efficiency of the organization

*Comply with regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, SOX controls) and QMS procedures, as well as, work to continuously improve data, quality, and processes that include original input, change functions, auditing and data cleansing

*Responsible for the consistency and integrity of all master data elements, including performing and reporting on periodic data integrity audits

*Respond to requests from stakeholders for revision or creation of master data records, and complete such tasks through the Change Order process of review and approval

*Maintain relationships with all stakeholders managing or utilizing master data

*Develop training documentation and conduct training on all necessary areas of master data as needed

*Identify potential situations that may impede successful material maintenance

*Participates in the execution of test scripts and completing documentation of test results

*Participate in internal and external auditing procedures

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate will have:

*Bachelor’s degree or related experience

*Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP Master Data

*In-depth production planning process knowledge including: materials management, bill of materials, forecasting, production orders, work centers, routings, MRP, warehouse management, and reporting

*Demonstrated experience in working with internal and external auditors related to review and sign-off

*Ability to collaborate across various functional areas to identify dependencies, integration points, and understand the implications of future strategies on master data

*Ability to develop and/or revise global data standards.  Must be able to modify these standards, policies and processes as needed as business requirements and systems evolve

*General understanding of a product life cycle within retail (ie. product development, planning, allocation, warehouse and transport)

*Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a time sensitive and fast paced environment

*Ability to travel up 10%
