Title Marketing Associate
Description JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Associate will work closely with the Brand Marketing team and internal departments to facilitate the Advertising, Promotional and Labeling (APL) process and support the samples and promotional materials fulfillment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Advertising, Promotional and Labeling (APL)
Manage APL process including initiating, circulating, and tracking APL submissions.
Schedule and chair APL committee meetings.
Work with Regulatory Affairs to submit final materials to OPDP.
Train internal and external stakeholders on the APL process and guidelines.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to incorporate APL comments into review materials.
Responsible for final proofing of all materials for final production and release to the field.
Generate quarterly APL reports.
Sample and Material Fulfillment
Monitor production, inventory, and distribution of promotional materials and samples.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders pending and upcoming materials/samples.
Responsible for final proofing all materials for final production with the print vendor and release to the field.
Evaluate vendor proposals and track invoices to ensure team is within budget.
Requirements EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
3 plus years’ experience in advertising, promotional and labeling process in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bachelor’s Degree (general business or life science disciplines) or equivalent experience in related field required.
Experience in using Microsoft Office; Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Understanding of the promotional materials creation process in Pharmaceuticals.
Understanding and knowledge of FDA regulations and guidance as they pertain to paper and electronic submissions.
SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Outstanding interpersonal and effective task planning/coordination skills.
Ability to travel adequately including attendance at major conventions and to work on weekends, if necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization skills with attention to details.
Experience in customer support for the field, internal and external stakeholders.
Completion of assigned tasks with high level of quality within departmental and company timelines.
Ability to learn on the go and obtain the skills needed to work within a technical environment.
Aptitude for building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent multitasking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-pace environment.
Lifting: Raising objects under 15 pounds from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally
