Description

Primary Function:  The Manufacturing Process Engineer will provide assigned business unit technical leadership for the evaluation and implementation of large-scale process improvements to enhance the efficiency, quality, compliance, customer service and safety of Austin manufacturing operations. Evaluate existing processes, suggest and evaluate improvement alternatives, secure funding, plan and execute implementation, coordinate validation, and specify ongoing maintenance requirements for process improvements. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Develop thorough understanding of assigned processes.     Identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvement.     Track and trend process performance including downtime, efficiency, scrap rates, etc. in order to identify opportunities for improvements.     Secure project funding through capital and expense plans and updates.     Implement improvements on schedule and within budget.     Act as a technical resource for issues arising in existing processes.     Assist in training operators to increase technical knowledge of the process     Adhere to all company policies, procedures, cGMPs and regulations.

Requirements

Skills/Experience/Education:- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.- Minimum five years experience as a Process Engineer implementing improvements in a manufacturing environment.
